Michael Braxton
Michael Braxton, a former partner at the law firm of Essen & Essen et al., started his career as a Public Defender in Tampa, Florida. As a lawyer, he has defended thousands of people in Miami and throughout the state of Florida charged with DUI as well as other serious felony cases. During his career, he has tried over 100 criminal jury trials and countless bench trials. As an attorney at Parks & Braxton, P.A., his success in the courtroom has led to numerous verdicts of "not guilty" in cases ranging from DUI to attempted murder. In addition to his success in trial, he has had numerous cases dismissed based on police misconduct, destruction of evidence, illegal stops, and a number of other reasons. He has handled and won countless driver's license hearings in which people in Miami and throughout the state of Florida arrested for DUI had their licenses returned to them. As an attorney at Parks & Braxton, P.A., Mr. Braxton has lectured at several DUI defense seminars and taught hundreds of lawyers / attorneys throughout the State of Florida on the art of winning a DUI defense case. He also has lectured on the topic of "How to Properly Cross Examine a Witness." He has written nationally published articles on such DUI topics as "Excluding Breath, Blood, and Urine results" and "Unlawful Police Stops." As a lawyer at Parks & Braxton, P.A., Mr. Braxton has handled DUI defense cases throughout the state of Florida including Miami Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Monroe, Seminole, Okaloosa, Manatee, Sarasota, Lee, Sumter, Hillsborough, Polk, Orange, Union, Santarosa, Brevard, Martin and Pinellas Counties of Florida. He received his Law degree from Nova Law Center in 1993 and his B.S. degree in Business Administration at the University of Connecticut in 1990. He is now a partner at the law firm of Parks & Braxton, P.A. and continues to focus on defending those persons charged with DUI in Miami and throughout the state of Florida. Mr. Braxton is also admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey.

Andrew Parks
Andrew Parks began his career as a prosecutor for the Broward County State Attorney's Office. After leaving the State, he worked for, and eventually became the youngest lawyer to become partner at the law firm of Essen & Essen et al. As both a prosecutor and a defense attorney Mr. Parks has served as lead counsel in thousands of DUI defense cases. As a lawyer, he has tried over 100 cases and argued countless motions to dismiss. He has handled and won countless driver's license hearings in Miami as well as throughout Florida in which people arrested for DUI had their licenses returned to them. As a result of his success as a DUI lawyer, he has been invited to speak at seminars around the State including "An Approach to Defending a Drunk Driving Case"; "Dismantling the State's DUI Case"; and, "The Art of Winning a DUI Case With Motion Practice." As an attorney, his arguments have been published on the front page of the national DWI Journal on topics including how to beat the breath test as well as how to use police misconduct to dismiss a DUI defense case. As an attorney, Mr. Parks has handled DUI defense cases in Broward, Miami Dade, Palm Beach, Monroe, Lee, Collier, Leon, St. John's, Glades, Hendry, Holmes, Lake, Seminole, St. Lucie, Duval, Okaloosa, Walton, Bay, Levy and Sarasota Counties of Florida. He received his Law degree from Hofstra University School of Law in New York in 1995. As a partner at the law firm of Parks & Braxton, P.A., Andrew Parks continues to dedicate his skills to the defense of those charged with DUI in Miami and throughout the state of Florida.

William Direnzo
William Direnzo began his career as a prosecutor for the Broward State Attorney's Office. While an Assistant State Attorney, Mr. Direnzo was a senior trial attorney assigned to thousands of DUI cases. Mr. Direnzo, has lectured and taught lawyers / attorneys on the various ways to attack the breath machine through the use of expert witnesses. In addition, he has instructed many of the DUI officers on topics ranging from how to properly administer field sobriety exercises for suspicion of drunk driving, search and seizure issues, and matters concerning the breath test for the suspicion of drunk driving. Mr. Direnzo has had countless DUI defense jury trials and handled hundreds of motions to dismiss and suppress evidence pertaining to DUI defense cases. Mr. Direnzo was also a lead prosecutor in the felony division where his jury trials ranged from drug charges to attempted murder. As a DUI defense attorney, Mr. Direnzo has tried and defended DUI cases in almost every county in the State of Florida including Miami. Furthermore, as a lawyer, he has handled and won countless administrative driver's license hearings throughout the State of Florida in which people arrested for DUI in Miami as well as throughout the state of Florida have had their licenses returned to them. As an attorney, he has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1998 and received his law degree from Nova Southeastern University.
